My name is Emily Whitehead and I'm 13 years old. In 2010 I was diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of 5. I was rushed to the Hershey Medical Center In Hershey PA to receive chemotherapy. Unfortunately, they ran out of options for me so, I had to go down to the Children's Hospital of Philidelphia. There, I was entered in a clinical trial that saved my life. I became the first child in the world with my immune system trained to beat cancer. As of now, I am 6 years cancer free.
